An intimate photographic session exploring mysticism, Shadow Self archetypes, and the dualism of consciousness. Through a reserved yet emotionally resonant Fashion ensemble—featuring a top hat, semi-mask, fan, and gauze veil—the authors present a figure of a medium interacting with an unseen realm. The projector in this project functions not as a carrier of text but as a delicate generator of vibrating light textures overlaid upon the protagonist and space, symbolizing an aura, mental noise, and unspoken emotions.

“In the 'Seance' collaboration, Yulia Pazukhina and I invite the viewer into a space of visual mysticism. This is a story about the hidden: the mask and gauze veil erase facial features to manifest the character’s true, primal energy. We deliberately turned away from aggressive effects in favor of a delicate play of light. The projector overlays sacred, chromatic patterns onto the protagonist, resembling electric impulses of consciousness. Candles, a fan, and a mirror serve as ritual tools in this silent dialogue with the Shadow. It is a manifesto about accepting one’s secret facets, about the strength born in darkness, and how projected light can speak volumes beyond any words.”
